HILLEBRAND WINERY JAZZ AND BLUES MUSIC
HIGHLIGHT SUMMER IN NIAGARA

Hillebrand Winery hosta a series of jazz and blues music events in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, every summer. More than 200,000 people visit Hillebrand Winery annually.

Hillebrand Jazz at the Winery

Hillebrand Winery celebrates Canadian jazz with music, wine and food in July. Entertainment features the Canadian jazz band Manteca, musician Kevin Breit of The Sisters Euclid and singers Dione Taylor and Sophie Berkal-Sarbit.

Manteca is one of the leading concert attractions in Canadian and international jazz. The nine-member band recently released Onward, their first album in almost a decade. Hillebrand Jazz at the Winery will be their first reunited performance in the Niagara region.

Toronto-based quartet, The Sisters Euclid and guitarist Kevin Breit incorporate roots and rock music into their jazz. Breit has played and recorded with Norah Jones, Cassandra Wilson and Holly Cole.

Dione Taylor sings traditional jazz standards and original compositions. At 16, award-winning jazz singer Sophie Berkal-Sarbit recently released her first CD.

You can buy Hillebrand Jazz at the Winery tickets by calling Hillebrand Winery at (800) 582-8412 or visiting their website.

Gates open at 2 pm. Performers entertain from 4 pm to 8 pm each afternoon. While at the winery, visitors can buy Hillebrand vintages, which have won more than 450 medals from national and international competitions. They can also dine on Chef Frank Dodd's culinary creations at Hillebrand Winery Restaurant.

Hillebrand's Jazz Lounge

The best views of the Hillebrand Jazz at the Winery stage will be from a new Jazz Lounge, an exclusive seating area, in front of the stage. Jazz-lovers can reserve a lounge chair and sun umbrella during the concert. Tickets sell quickly.

Jazz on the Patio and Blues at the Winery

From July until the fall harvest, visitors can dine at the Hillebrand Winery Restaurant Patio or Wine Garden, while enjoying live jazz performed by aspiring Canadian jazz musicians. The performers will play from 1 pm to 5 pm on the patio every weekend.

Blues at the Winery, a concert which sold out last year, takes place in August.
