Loch Ness has long been a favourite tourist attraction, with visitors from around the world, because of the scenery and the opportunity it gives them to see the elusive Loch Ness Monster. Over the years, there have been more than 1,000 eyewitness reports and numerous photos taken of the mysterious Nessie.

The Loch Ness Discovery Centre, located on Edinburgh's famous Royal Mile, next to old Parliament Square by Edinburgh Castle, tells visitors all they need to know about Loch Ness. They can investigate the evidence supplied, and view photographs, illusions, hoaxes and scientific research results under one roof.

The 20-minute 3-D Loch Ness Experience presentation is available in five languages and is suitable for all ages.
