Hugh Grant and Jemima Goldsmith chose a winter sun villa vacation on Barbados this year to get away from it all. They stayed at The Dream, on the west coast of the island, which is available through Wimco, the international villa company, for $13,125 per week (accommodation only).
Grant and Goldsmith enjoyed their holiday to such an extent that, on their return, Hugh snapped up a villa on the island for a cool £3 million.
Wimco's Villa Dream is a five-bedroom Barbados beachfront villa with a pool and stunning views over the Caribbean. The ground floor features three bedrooms, sitting room with bar which opens onto a terrace, private gardens, pool deck and the beach. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The master suite has a private balcony overlooking the pool and gazebo. Staff consists of maid, chef, laundress, gardener and night watchman.
