Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad offers fall foliage train rides daily from Labor Day through late-October. Passengers depart from stops along the route. On the 80-minute Lincoln route, they see colored leaves along the Pemigewassett River, golf courses and a local swimming hole. The tour is narrated. Children under two ride free.

One and two-hour trips, from Meredith or Weirs Beach, follow the Hobo Railroad's summer lakeside route along Meredith Bay. The train clings to a shelf dug more than 100 years ago.
