THE WORLD VISITS 36 COUNTRIES
FROM ARGENTINA TO CANARY ISLANDS

The 12-deck private residential ship, The World, begins its 2007 itnerary in Ushuaia, the capital of Tierra del Fuego, in January. It then cruises to the South Georgia Islands, Deception Island and the icebergs and glaciers of Antarctica. In February, passengers can attend Carnaval, in Rio, and visit Uruguay, the fashionable resort of Punta del Este, Parati and Buzios.

Residents and guests will cruise to Santarem, where the Amazon meets the Tapajos River, in March, followed by Belem, Trinidad, Grenada and Barbados. After crossing the Atlantic, The World sails to Las Palmas, Canary Islands, and Funchal, Madeira, before spending two weeks in Lisbon, Portugal. May's highlights include Bordeaux, France, for wine tasting, Barcelona, the Cannes Film Festival, and Portofino, Rome and Sorrento, Italy. June features stops in Croatia, Slovenia, Corsica and Valencia for the 2007 America's Cup Event.

After visiting Hamburg, Germany, The World arrives in Poland, in August, for the Tall Ships Race, and Visby, Sweden, for the annual Medieval Festival. September features Tallinn, Estonia, and Riga, Latvia, followed by Lithuania, Oslo, London and Honfleur, France. In October, passengers can tour Carthage and Medina, Tunisia, Athens and Crete, before cruising to Cyprus, Lebanon, Malta and Libya.

After stops in Citavecchia, Genoa and Nice in November, The World ends the year in Barcelona, Malaga, Tangier and Casablanca, Morocco. New Year's Eve will be celebrated with a gala party, as the ship departs Funchal, Madeira.
