Visitors to Ottawa, Ontario, can buy a Canada Capital Museums Passport this summer for $30 per person or $75 for a family of five (maximum two adults), taxes included. Passport holders can visit 10 of Ottawa's diverse museums, from the Canadian Museum of Civilization to the Canada Science and Technology Museum. The Capital Museums Passport also entitles visitors to receive a 20 per cent discount on all National Arts Centre orchestra and dance events in the regular subscription series, including their English and French Theatre performances.
The Capital Museums Passport is valid for seven days after its first use and is available at the following participating museums: Canadian Museum of Civilization, Canadian War Museum, National Gallery of Canada, Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, Canadian Museum of Nature, Canada Science and Technology Museum, Canada Agriculture Museum, Canada Aviation Museum, Royal Canadian Mint and Laurier House.
The Capital Museums Passport can also be purchased at the Capital Info Centre, located across from Parliament Hill.
Rideau Hall, the Currency Museum of the Bank of Canada, the RCMP Musical Ride Centre and the Virtual Museum of Canada are also involved in the passport program even though they do not charge admission.
