A Zagat survey, commissioned by USA Today, has identified the Top 100 Hotel Restaurants in America, based on the criteria of food quality, décor, and service. Massachusetts ranked second overall, placing behind only California. The Bay State ranked higher than New York with thirteen hotel restaurants, located throughout the state, on the Top 100 list.
The Zagat Survey identified dining establishments that offer superlative cuisine, splendid settings and the highest standard in service. Menu selections range from inventive French to New American cuisine. All restaurants suggest reservations. Proper attire may be required.
