Sihlcity blends a former paper finishing building, dating from 1911, with modern architecture. The southern Zurich district houses 13 restaurants and eateries, 80 stores, nine movie theaters, a hotel and a fitness and wellness center.

Four Points Sihlcity Zurich, by Arabella Sheraton, has 132 rooms, a conference and meeting complex for up to 120 people, a restaurant and bar, as well as direct access to a fitness and wellness zone.
Switzerland's first Courtyard by Marriott is located at the other end of the city. The 4-star hotel, a two-minute walk from Oerlikon train station, has 152 rooms and two suites.
British star architect, Norman Foster, renovated the more than 100-year-old Dolder Hotel on the Zurichberg. After four years of extensive renovations, this exclusive hotel opened its doors in 2008.
The Radisson SAS Hotel Zurich Airport is located directly opposite the departure terminal. The hotel has 329 rooms and 3,700 square meters of conference space.
