The 207-room Vail Plaza Hotel & Club opens in Vail Village late this summer. The first hotel to open in the heart of Vail Village for more than 40 years, the upscale hotel is close to shops, restaurants, galleries and après-ski fun.
In winter, Vail Plaza Hotel offers couples, families and groups mountain views and walk-to-lift access to the number one ski resort in North America. In warm weather, golfers can visit the Vail Golf Club, just one-half mile from the hotel.
Vail Plaza Hotel rooms and suites
Rooms at the Vail Plaza Hotel & Club range from standard guestrooms to four-bedroom suites. All suites have marble bathrooms and full gourmet kitchens for in-suite entertaining with a private chef. Cozy feather beds have Egyptian cotton sheets. Attendants offer nightly turn down amenities.
Vail Plaza Hotel is seven stories high, with decks, balconies and windows that frame mountain views. The Italian Alps architectural style features copper towers and rooftops, gables and stone work. Inside, guests find stone fireplaces, handcrafted chandeliers and beamed ceilings.
Where to eat at Vail Plaza Hotel
Two restaurants serve the Vail Plaza Hotel & Club. Ristorante Da Vinci offers gourmet Italian dining and wines. Galileo serves families and groups hearty American food. Bacco's Lounge has live entertainment, wines, cocktails, beer and gourmet snacks for après ski fun.
Sorrento Spa has five treatment rooms. Vail Plaza Hotel & Club's full-service spa offers body and facial treatments for men and women.
Fitness and meeting facilities
Spa treatments include revitalizing therapies to promote inner warmth after a day on the slopes and couples treatments. Vail Plaza Hotel & Club also boasts a state-of-the-art fitness center, heated outdoor swimming pool and eight-person hot tub.
The Vail Plaza Hotel & Club has 7,000 square feet of function space, including two grand ball rooms with 10 breakout rooms, for corporate functions, weddings and other special events. A small boardroom caters to intimate corporate retreats.
Rates for the Vail Plaza Hotel & Club begin at $400 to $600 a night, per room single or double, during ski season and $200 to $300 off-season. Children under 12 stay free.
