Flyglobespan is one of the largest and most popular airlines in the UK. The discount airline offers budget flights to Egypt, nearly two dozen destinations in Europe, as well as Orlando Sandford in the US, and Hamilton, Calgary, Vancouver and Halifax in Canada.
Halifax to Glasgow flights
Flyglobespan began non-stop flights to Glasgow, Scotland from Halifax, Nova Scotia on May 27, 2009. The new Flyglobespan flights to Glasgow depart every Saturday from Halifax International Airport (YHZ) until the end of September 2009.

Besides Halifax, Flyglobespan offers flights to England, Scotland and Ireland from three other gateways in Canada — Hamilton, Calgary and Vancouver.
From Hamilton, Flyglobespan flights go to London Gatwick, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast and Dublin. One-way economy fares begin at $79 plus tax.
Beginning in June, Flyglobespan flies once weekly from Calgary to London Gatwick, Manchester, Dublin and Glasgow. Prices for one-way economy flights begin at $99 plus tax.

Low air fares
Flyglobespan offers low price airline tickets in premium economy and business class.
Premium economy service includes a generous seat pitch, free seat selection for standard seats, 25-kg luggage allowance, full meal service, with a choice of in-flight meals pre-booked online, free soft drinks and free in-flight entertainment.
Business class
Discount business class airfare includes 38-inch seat pitches, free advanced seat selection, 40-kg luggage allowance, priority check-in, priority boarding, free drinks, gourmet meal service with fine wines, choice of in-flight meals that can be pre-booked online, free in-flight entertainment and a soft pillow and blanket.
Since November 2006, Canada's Blue Sky policy allows airlines, like Flyglobespan, to establish new services, and also permits Canadian airlines to expand internationally. Airports, like the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, have more freedom to market themselves around the world.
Hamilton International Airport (YHM), in Ontario, is the Canadian base for Flyglobespan.
