Cheap flights from Canada
Flyglobespan offers flights to England, Scotland and Ireland from three gateways in Canada – Hamilton, Calgary and Vancouver.
New Flyglobespan routes from Canada include Hamilton to Bristol and Vancouver to Dublin, the first direct flight from BC to Dublin. From June through September, 2009, Flyglobespan will fly weekly from Hamilton, Ontario to Cardiff, Wales.
From Hamilton, Flyglobespan flights go to London Gatwick, Manchester, Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast and Dublin. From Calgary, Flyglobespan flies to London Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow. From Vancouver, Flyglobespan goes to London Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.

Since November 2006, Canada's Blue Sky policy allows airlines, like Flyglobespan, to establish new services, and also permits Canadian airlines to expand internationally. Airports, like the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, have more freedom to market themselves around the world.
Hamilton International Airport, in Ontario, is the Canadian base for Flyglobespan. Small, convenient regional airports offer benefits over congested big city airports, like Toronto Pearson International, according to Stephen Elmy, Regional Manager - North America for Flyglobespan. “Regional airports help keep costs down and make it quick and easy for travelers to arrive closer to their actual destinations,” he says.
Cheap flights to Europe
“Flyglobespan may be new to Canada, but the airline is well-known in the UK,” says Elmy. “Once Canadians arrive in the UK they can explore not just England, Scotland and Ireland, but continental Europe as well. In fact, London Stansted is the home of the $10 ticket to Europe.”
Passengers on the Flyglobespan network can fly into one airport and fly out of another.
Flyglobespan has won awards such as Airline of the Year in Scotland, its home country. In 2008, Tourism Hamilton Awards named Flyglobespan “Rookie of The Year.”
