Hawker stalls (mobile food carts) offer all types of inexpensive and tasty local dishes.

Asian antiques and handicrafts, carpets, cameras, electronic equipment, diamonds, gold, jewelry, optical goods, reptile skin belts, bags and shoes, watches, custom-tailored and ready-to-wear clothing, batik and prayer rugs on Arab Street, silk saris and spices in Little India, jade and porcelain in Chinatown.
